Liliane Silva was one of the three young women who reported seeing an unusual crouched creature in Varginha.
Who This Witness Was
Liliane Silva was walking with her sister Valquiria Silva and their friend Katia Andrade Xavier through the Jardim Andere district of Varginha on 20 January 1996.
The three reported seeing a crouched unfamiliar figure near a wall or vacant lot during wet weather.
Liliane's witness role concerns the short visual episode and the immediate family aftermath.
She did not directly witness the military, hospital or biological recovery claims later attached to Varginha.
What Is Attributable to This Witness
Liliane broadly reported a figure with:
